About The Foundation

Our Background

The Yahya Ibrahim Aliyu Charity Foundation was founded on 15 October 2015 (1437 AH) by Barrister Yahya Ibrahim Ali, who continues to serve as its President. Operating from Sharada Phase II in Kano State, Nigeria, we are a non-profit organization deeply committed to humanitarian and community development work across Nigeria and beyond.

Mission & Objectives

Our mission is to advance human development, with a particular focus on supporting orphans, widows, and vulnerable populations. We achieve this through seven core objectives:

  • 1Promote cooperation and solidarity among members and beneficiaries.
  • 2Implement programs that support sustainable human development.
  • 3Provide financial and material assistance to orphans, widows, and the indigent.
  • 4Support educational opportunities for orphans and underprivileged children.
  • 5Facilitate access to healthcare for vulnerable individuals and families.
  • 6Provide access to clean water in underserved communities.
  • 7Construct and renovate mosques and Islamic educational institutions.

Our Funding Model

Currently, the Foundation is sustained entirely by the monthly contributions of our 80 dedicated members, each contributing ₦1,000 per month. This highly efficient, grassroots funding model drives all our major infrastructure and outreach projects.

Current Challenges

  • Limited financial resources vs. growing beneficiary needs.
  • Insufficient external/government support.
  • Lack of dedicated logistics/transportation for rural outreach.
